About Us

At Sullivan Digital Designers, art is created with intention, patience, and respect for storytelling. While digital tools are part of the process, the work itself is rooted in traditional painting principles, translated into the digital space through hand-painted techniques.

Many of the portraits and selected Story Art pieces are painted by hand using Escape Motions Rebelle 8, a professional natural-media painting system designed to replicate real watercolor, oil, acrylic, charcoal, and pastel behavior. Every brushstroke, texture, and color decision is intentionally applied — not generated.

The focus of the work is Black childhood, family legacy, and cultural memory. These pieces are created to feel timeless — like heirlooms — honoring moments that are often overlooked yet deeply meaningful.

In addition to original paintings, Sullivan Digital Designers also curates and restores public-domain vintage artworks, carefully reimagined through modern color grading, aspect-ratio adaptation, and presentation. These works are clearly labeled and presented as curated heritage pieces.

Each collection is transparent in its creation:

Hand-Painted Potraits Originals — created stroke by stroke.

Story Art — original narrative works, hand-painted art.

Vintage Story Art — restored and re-presented public-domain imagery.

This clarity allows collectors to choose art not just for how it looks, but for how it was made.
